Jubilation As AXHOI Empowers Women Entrepreneurs In Abuja, Jahi Community

Scope

As part of its commitment to grassroots empowerment, the Axis of Hope Initiative (AXHOI), in collaboration with PL Mentorship Club, has provided financial support to women entrepreneurs in Jahi, Abuja.

This initiative, part of the ‘Parents Connect 2.0: Mindset Shift’ program, aims to equip women with the skills and resources needed to achieve economic independence.

Empowering Women for a Stronger Society

Speaking at the event, Barrister Maxwell Mgbudem, Chairman of Axis of Hope Initiative, emphasized the transformative impact of empowering women.

  • "Women are the backbone of every thriving community. When you empower a woman, you uplift entire families, communities, and society as a whole," he said.

    He highlighted the organization’s dedication to helping vulnerable women overcome financial challenges and achieve self-sufficiency.

    "Many women at the grassroots level struggle to provide for their families. Our goal is to support them through sustainable empowerment programs, ensuring they have the resources to build better futures," Mgbudem added.

    Financial Support and Business Monitoring

    Recognizing financial independence as a key driver of resilience, AXHOI’s initiative includes seed funding and business mentorship to help women build sustainable livelihoods.

    "We are not just changing individual lives; we are transforming entire households and breaking cycles of poverty," Mgbudem stated.

    The foundation also focuses on health awareness, education, and social inclusion to improve the overall well-being of vulnerable populations.

    Strengthening Families Through Economic Empowerment

    The ‘Parents Connect 2.0: Mindset Shift’ program brought together experts from diverse fields to equip parents with essential skills for raising resilient children. Mgbudem stressed that financial stability and strong family values go hand in hand.

    "Our partnership with PL Mentorship Club reflects our belief that empowering women and strengthening families will lead to a more inclusive and prosperous society," he noted.

    As Axis of Hope Initiative continues its mission, it remains committed to fostering economic empowerment, self-reliance, and sustainable development across Nigeria.

    Also speaking the convener, Chioma Chukwudille, called on the federal government, and parents to join forces in raising children in the society.
