Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC) has released an official statement about the rumoured arrest of their founder, Pastored Bolaji Idowu.
Legit.ng had reported that the clergy had been allegedly arrested by the police over real estate fraud worth billions of naira.
In the press release by the church, it was stated that Pastor Bolaji was indeed invited by the Nigeria Police Force, Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja.

The official statement explained that he was invited to provide clarification in the ongoing investigation against a church member.
Church says Bolaji Idowu is law-abiding
The church stated that the clergy was a law-abiding and responsible leader. It was further disclosed that he went to the police station to aid the ongoing investigation as it concerns the church he was pastoring.
Harvesters Church promised that the clergy would continue to cooperate with the police in the ongoing investigation.
Harvesters Church warns the public
After clearing Pastor Bolaji Idowu's name, the church urged the public to disregard all inaccurate reports circulating about the clergy.
Harvesters Church appreciated the public for their concern and for praying for the clergy.
Recall that Pastor Bolaji Idowu had also reacted to the news about his arrest and fraud allegations. He stated that the only land he had was the one given to him by his parents.

Police release Pastor Bolaji Idowu
Legit.ng had reported that the Pastor in charge of the Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC) started trending online over some allegations, many frowned about.
He had been invited by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) over an allegation of fraud.
However, he was later released and didn't spend the night in the custody of the law enforcement agency. Different questions went through the minds of his fans after hearing the news.
