A wife has reportedly abandoned her husband, who helped to bring her abroad to study and work.

The man had brought his wife abroad and enrolled her in a school, after which she started working.

The heartbreaking story was shared in a TikTok video by Ijeoma Sandy, who said it happened in Austria.

According to the story, the woman's character changed completely after she graduated from school and started working.

After she started making money, she started giving her husband attitude.

She refused to contribute money for the upkeep of the family, making her husband overwork himself in a bid to care for everyone.

The man would later fall sick due to the stress of work and was hospitalised.

After some surgeries, the man was discharged and was recovering further at home. But instead of helping her husband to recover fully, the lady brought her mother to Austria and moved out of her husband's house.

Ijeoma, who narrated the story, said the lady is now living with her mother instead of caring for her sick husband.

In her reaction to the story, Raez Jewels, a relationship expert, said there must be other details of the story that were not mentioned. She asked how the man was treating his wife prior to his falling sick.

She said:

"Looking at it from one angle, it’s bad but again, how did the man treat or care for her when he was hale and hearty? You can’t treat a woman so badly and expect her to suddenly become kind to you because you’re sick."
